The Photoshoot: From Booking to Photo Delivery
1. Use the website to book an appointment
Go to the "Book Appointment" tab to make a reservation for your photoshoot. You will be prompted to create an account, which will be required to accept reservations and payments. Reservations must be completed at least a week before the shoot to give us enough time to discuss the logistics prior to the photoshoot. Business and organizations must contact me at jsummervillephotography@gmail.com for scheduling. A $50 deposit is due at the time of reservation; both the deposit and photoshoot balances will be charged either via Zelle or through an online payment link.
2. Schedule a consultation call
Once I've received your appointment, I'll contact you to schedule a call to discuss the shoot. Themes, locations, outfit changes, and props are topics we'll cover so that it's all sorted out prior to the big day. Feel free to share what types of poses you'd like to recreate or any ideas you have for your Polaroid shots!
3. Receiving a reminder email
You'll receive a reminder email the day prior to your photoshoot. Remember to get a good night's rest and give yourself ample time to get ready!
4. The photoshoot!
I always look forward to my next photoshoot, and I hope you do too! Staying relaxed and going with the flow honestly creates the best photos. Don't worry too much about "looking natural." Some poses seem unusual, but I'll direct you so that the finished product look spectacular!
5. Post-production period
An invoice will be sent within 1-2 business days of your photoshoot; photo albums will be shared upon payment completion. Your digital album should be completed within a week of the photoshoot but guaranteed within 10 days. If there are circumstances that keep me from delivering your photos on time, I will inform you in advance and give a time frame for when you could expect your photos to arrive.
6. Purchase prints and share photos!
Your digital photo album will be shared via Google Drive folder, where you can view, download, and share your photos! These photos will be available to download for 14 days, after which time they will be removed. If you'd also like to purchase prints, go to my products page and fill out the form to place an order.
